Dear Chester County residents: Your local elected officials voted to increase your taxes by 13.49% today.

From what I observed at today's meeting, a majority of the county commissioners present appeared to lack empathy for those who spoke during the public comment section at today's meeting.

If you're on a fixed income, a working Mom with 4 kids, a millennial who wants to buy a home, or a veteran, sorry. You lost. Here's a tissue. Get ready to write that check.

Officials did not offer a detailed explanation, line by line, where millions of dollars will be spent. Apparently, you're too much of a peasant to deserve transparency in your government. Sorry.

You, taxpayer, are nothing more than a dollar dispensing Pez serf working for local, state, and federal governments. How's that feel?

The tax and spend mentality in blue counties is a recipe for sure pain. Just look at what's happened in Delaware and Montgomery counties.

Oh and they still haven't responded to my DM thread after they initially reply in AUGUST! I messaged them on 8/28. They replied immediately and asked for my confirm code. I provided & then....crickets. I have since messaged them repeatedly since then and nothing. Zero, zip, nada.

So @AirCanada decided to cxl'd my refund that they said they would give me (at least they returned the $300 extortion fee). They have had over $2K of my money now for over 2 yrs and still can't even talk to a human.
