Counseling student decoding human behavior. Working on my master's and serving snack-sized psychology bites to inspire smarter moves in a complex world.
@DeepPsycho_HQ Discipline truly is the backbone of personal growth. We just posted something about this. It has to do more with heuristics and conditioning, but it's in the same realm. :-)
Most of your fears & insecurities aren’t "who you are"—they’re just conditioning (past experiences) or heuristics (mental shortcuts). The best part? You can rewire them. Challenge the pattern, change the outcome. Your brain is trainable. 💡 #Mindset#Psychology
@PsychToday@KatieLMSW Super helpful info, and another thing that helps us is EXERCISE. Whenever we put it in a semi-strenuous 45 minutes, we sleep like babies!
The Little Albert experiment showed that fear can be conditioned, but later research proved it can also be unlearned. By rewiring our responses, we can break bad habits, overcome anxieties, and build confidence through intentional conditioning. #MentalHealthMatters#Psychology
Many enjoy solitude, but that doesn’t mean they have Schizoid Personality Disorder. SPD is more than introversion—it’s a deep detachment, not just a need for space. Craving alone time is healthy; rejecting all human connection is different. #MentalHealth#Psychology
𝘿𝙞𝙙 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙆𝙣𝙤𝙬? 97% of Turkey is in Asia and 3% is in Europe? On Istanbul’s 15 July Martyrs Bridge, you can cross continents in minutes—no passport needed! How’s that for a bucket list commute? #Turkey#BosporusBridge#Connect#facts
Strong winds fuel wildfires—at 30 mph, fires can spread up to 15 mph, making them nearly impossible to fight as flames leap ahead and spot fires ignite. Firefighters risk everything battling these infernos. #PalisadesFire#EatonFire#LAFires#WildfireAwareness#CAfire
Every year in Japan, 4-12 people tragically lose their lives to choking on mochi, especially during New Year celebrations. Elderly individuals are most at risk due to the sticky texture. Cut mochi into small pieces to stay safe! #Mochi#Japan#Choke https://t.co/EzWByqJYHU
@WelcomeToNatur @4thst50 This would work for most spots, but for cities like NYC with tight spots, I would start turning the wheel when your mirrors are aligned (if the parallel car is roughly the same size), then when your front wheel lines up with their rear wheel, start straightening out carefully.
@Fact I've always felt that, and it's kinda nice to get a lot done and then look up at the clock and see it's only 11:00AM. I used to be a late owl and do my best work at 2AM, but then I wake up around noon already feeling defeated. :-/
The Japanese character for "frog" is 蛙 (pronounced kaeru or kawazu).
𝔽𝕌ℕ 𝔽𝔸ℂ𝕋:
In Japanese, the word "kaeru" (かえる) also means "to return" or "to go back," making frogs symbolic of safe returns or good fortune in Japanese culture! 🐸 #frogs#kawaii#ukiyo#Avocato
