@the_psyche_lab@rwhs99 You cited values for women, what are the results for men? Did the comparative study also compare for unhappiness, I'd assume so since you explicitly mentioned women in toxic marriages being in the lowest levels of happiness? Would like to know more about the distribution.
@noetic_heart@clip_katua@Theonenameddamn Thanks for pointing that out. Should've done more research. That being said, forcing yourself into a bad marriage as a woman will result in even worse satisfaction. Also I'd need the rest of the answers, e.g. to compare with happiness of married and single men.
@Kozzist@ROZEPOP Energy isn't a finite resource per se with the sun providing far more than we can capture. But top soil and minerals and metals used to produce e.g. solar panels are.
@Lucent8Leonhart@ElonFatigue Germans and English use "Frau"/"woman" over "Weib"/"wife" simply because former were used to address nobility and latter were used to address peasants. Due to pejorative shift of latter, both Germans and English adopted the word "Frau"/"woman" as the general term.
@Lucent8Leonhart@ElonFatigue "Weib" is not the same as "Mädchen". "Mädchen" derived from "Mägdchen" (maiden) which is the diminuitive of "Magd" (maid). "Weib", just like "wife" derives from Proto-West-Germanic "wīb", which means woman.
@null_afk@Cuddly49905741@philosophymeme0 I learned how the economy works by buying bread and being taught about the economy. Pretending that running a business that in the real world would immediately be pushed out of the market by the Coca Cola company or Pepsico is vital for learning about econ is, frankly, ridiculous
@babaken_0@kirawontmiss "People don’t actually listen to what he says anymore"
Because everything he said so far wasn't in any way or shape better. He's a lolcow atp.
