"If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.' - African Proverb
Across Africa, what unique challenges do minority groups face regarding mental health? We have multiple minority groups with unique challenges, but how often do we stand up to recognize and appreciate these specific struggles?
No more silence, we are here to curate a conversation where the mental health of minority groups is at the forefront, across Africa.
This coming Monday, we will be having another one of our Africa X Chat, centered on Minority mental Health, at 10 AM EAT and for the first time, we would like to open the panel to you all.
If you would like to participate in this conversation as a panelist, message us on DM, and we will give you further details.
Let us come together, break the silence, and strengthen African communities together! #Tufunguke
Another day of our medical interns not being posted

We would like to send a special thank you to all the 50+ panelists who participated in this great conversation.
Every insight changes a life, a day at a time, and we appreciate all of you for that.
Untill the next, #Tufunguke about #Mentalhealth
Had an amazing discussion with various panelists across Africa courtesy of Chiromo Hospital Group
It was a very productive session which provided insight to the scope of bipolar disorder in Africa.
@ChiromoHospGrp Thank you for having us😃. Looking forward to more.
@ChiromoHospGrp I recently came across a story by @KPAkenya of a person living with bipolar describing the lows and highs. Diagnosis and bipolar education enabled him to live well with the condition and become and advocate. Find attached link to the full story.
