No luck with the @wesbos photo frame #hack yet. Cannot get this Frameo to show in ADB devices despite ADB toggle on. USB-A to C cables allow separate phone to show in ADB devices. Any ideas? Powered USB hub?

@dusty_irl @wesbos Oh nice! I screwed up the boot img so need to try get a UART connection so i can recover it. I possibly just didnt build the boot file properly but ive not seen any concrete steps for it, just crappy llm output. If i get UART ill msg back for it :)

@_JustCents Ive bricked mine as of the moment, flashed a modified boot but clearly messed it up. Need to get it into maskrom to recover it.

@_JustCents Ive had no luck with 3 or 4 hubs, i havent tried one with a wall plug power tho. Im most of the way into using the rkdeveloptool to patch boot img

@MartyEarthy @wesbos @grok I used Mint via VirtualBox, installed usbeehive and it just showed the connection as 480Mb and I couldnt seem to get more info out of it.

@dusty_irl @wesbos Oo interesting device. So I plug the RPI4 end into the frame, the frame provided power plug into PWR and USB into my laptop?

@BowieHole @wesbos @grok No grok yet hah. If I unplug the USB the device dies. I've got drivers as my phone works. I've toggled ADB on and off with USB plugged in

@BowieHole @wesbos When I toggle ADB I get a popup that asks me to confirm something (with a frameo URL on it) and I choose Accept (from memory). But this isn't the standard Android USB debugging prompt, I've not seen that at all.
