@RiTides @Jim73714922 @USCPSC I’ve actually seen a ball get sucked under (in a gym). This is a well-known risk, so I’m not sure that is true. The Tread+ slats are definitely more “sticky” but treadmills are inherently dangerous and this is not at all surprising to me. I hope they can compare rates to others.

@USCPSC What is the rate of injury or death with the @onepeloton #Tread+ vs other treadmills? This is not a new risk, and there are other videos out there like this for other brands (and I saw a ball get sucked under one once) so I’m curious how it compares.

@htubbscooley_RN I haven’t had this experience yet, but I’ve been selective of the rooms I participate in; I have moderators and speakers that I look for because they are good facilitators. I’ve actually learned a lot and find participants to be diverse, smart, and respectful in the health rooms.
