Spending an hour with @eluberoff (Eli Luberoff) the co-founder of @Desmos ! I'm SO honored to be part of the DE Math Coaltion and to get snall-group training on how to use all that the Desmos calculator and the Desmos Activities to enrich my students' thinking.

@TMobile 5G would pay for a totally amazing vacation for my family of 4. I've only been a #TMobileTuesdays customer for a year, but congrats on your 5 year anniversary!

@nearpod I plan on taking all the slides I've created in Semester 1 and using Nearpod to make them more interactive for Semester 2. I can't keep talking to the screen. Can't wait for kids to participate!
@olivia_tyndall My school promotes using KAMI and Dojo - that lets students upload PDFs and write directly on them using their Chromebooks. I also rely on vetted sites such as Khan, IXL, and open-ed resources such as Illustrative Math. #WUEDT6020
@DavidSten4 Wow! That's a great question! I think that students help with this by demonstrating excitement and participation. You also have to look at the data that follows. Eventually, it all comes down to what's best for student achievement. #WUEDT6020
@chalpin04 Thanks for your response, Claire. I, too, change my Schoology folders and files. But once out there, students can download and poof - it's saved. My district is looking into a lock-down browser for assessments. #WUEDT6020
@chalpin04 @McCoolWILMu Claire, I don't use Remind but I like how you can connect multiple groups of students with one "thread." I wish Schoology had a way to connect students in several courses across a school or across a district with a #hastag feature similar to Twitter. #WUEDT6020
@Elise93763615@McCoolWILMu Elise, I agree! A new job feels like your first year of teacher all over again! I also have trouble with the character limit, since I'm used to writing so much. Might be a good way for students to summarize a lesson or LEQ. #WUEDT6020
@yulievazquez I agree! Digital Citizenship is so important! Unfortunately, at the high school level it isn't really "taught" much. I think HS teachers assume that MS teachers covered it. I am going to make sure to include it in next year's culture. #wuedt6020
@chalpin04 @DavidSten4@McCoolWILMu There are some teachers in my school district who have "gamified" their entire course. It started with just one unit and many teachers collaborated on it at once. Through the power of many, the entire unit was done! #wuedt6020
@McCoolWILMu I can see myself really getting into mobile learning. This semester, I already used it to review the prerequisites for my course. It went faster and the students were more in control of what they needed to practice. I was able to teach new material on Day 3!

I'm halfway through my Master's program in Applied Technology at Wilmington University! Currently researching the emerging educational trend of "Adaptive Learning". #wuedt6020
