In an effort to save lives by removing impaired drivers from the roadways, Captain Jason Crites announces Troop F will be conducting DWI saturations in Boone County on June 5th & 6th.

🚧 Reclamite trucks are working downtown today, June 4, on portions of Seventh, Eighth and Ninth streets. Work shifts to Tenth Street and other areas tomorrow.
If you see a temporary "No Parking" sign, please follow the posted dates and times to help crews complete the work.
On Thursday, June 4, from 7 a.m.-1 p.m., Street division crews will close the westbound lane of Elm Street between Seventh and Eighth streets for roadway repairs for a future mill and overlay project.
The eastbound lane and sidewalks remain open. Flaggers will direct traffic.
We've heard concerns about vehicle speeds on Hoylake Drive. Now it's time to share your input. Join Public Works from 6-7 p.m. tomorrow, June 4, at City Hall, Room 1C, to discuss potential traffic calming solutions and provide feedback.
[2/2] These photos show one side of a street after Reclamite application and one side before treatment. The amber-brown appearance is temporary. Crews apply sand as a blotter, and weather and traffic will gradually return the street's appearance to normal.

Throughout June and July, contractors for Public Works will apply Reclamite to streets resurfaced last year. The treatment helps preserve asphalt, extend roadway life and protect the City's investment in recently improved streets.
June 8-12, contractors will close East Walnut Street between Short Street and Hubbell Drive to perform exterior building repairs at 1200 E. Walnut St. Detours will use East Broadway and Tenth Street.

ATTN COLUMBIA: Eastbound I-70 in Columbia will be reduced to one lane for emergency pavement repairs at St. Charles Road, near mile marker 131, from 5 p.m. May 28 through early morning May 29.
