@NightSkyNow When a country that has bullied the world for almost a century gets weak, you have to make up lies to cast fear upon others
Sad state US has become
@MrAhmadAwais Tbh I LOVED Matt’s typescript contents until he dabbed into AI context stuff
Made sense for engagements, but tbh not a fan of whatever he’s been preaching, way too opinionated in a way that CRUSHES model context quality
been giving @AmpCode a test drive today (opencode is my daily driver) after chatting a bit w/ @thorstenball.
some initial thoughts:
- opinionated and generally with great taste. you can feel it in every decision and interaction, there is intent and thought behind everything.
- i really appreciate that they're not afraid to throw out features that they out grow and aren't afraid of breaking backwards compat - keeping that agility and flexibility for a product/tool like this is v. important w/ how fast things change
- the 'handoff' feature is insanely good and feels way better than the compaction in any of the other harnesses. it teaches and reinforces the importance of context management and makes you consider it at every step.
- i didn't expect to use the 'Oracle' feature/agent very much since the coding/smart agent is opus 4.5, but man, it's actually really well done and useful and i often am asking to consult the oracle
- the scrolling of the conversation window feels...artificially slow? i'm not sure how else to describe it
- the skill creator skill it ships with is actually pretty good and has generated a bunch of high quality skills (with oracle review ofc)
@melvynx The difference is in Cursor you get ZDR
Whereas with Claude Max, everything you work on, is exposed to Anthropic and used to train models = your business “secrets” will soon be open sourced
So yeah, be cheap and generate data for Anthropic while paying them
