2; Therefore, the Chairman of @nidcom_gov@abikedabiri STEPPED in 2023 to negotiate a PRISONER- Transfer Memorandum of Understanding with the Ethiopian authorities to bring affected Nigerians back home.
3: in 2024, The Federal High Court issued a binding order as part of MOU to repatriate Nigerians from Ethiopia.
4: The Government finalized the deal in 2024.
5: Don’t forget that Nigerians were held mostly in Kaliti and Aba Samuel prisons for drug related offenses.
