The devs after the release of remake said it was called remake because OG Sephiroth was remaking the universe. Since then they have been open about the story will be different. Remake says it at the end, bro.

They are upfront with it being a sequel. Just because they held that as a surprise for the initial release doesn’t make it bad. That’s an odd complaint.

You still have the OG to show. The new trilogy doesn’t take away from the OG.

Otherwise the final boss would be the motor ball. That’d suck. I could go either way on the Dyne rewrite. The Zack stuff I didn’t like tho. It dragged.

With it being a sequel, Aerith in the street is a bigger deal. The Barret undo establishes the new mechanics that they elaborate on in the trilogy…

I’d rather have not just have a rehash for a money grab. I find what they are doing making it a remake/sequel interesting. Plus has been something alluded to in the comp works since 2003.

What about the story is ruined for you tho? Specifically?

Walt is so insufferable and constantly puts his family in harms way and Skylar is annoying in season 1 but every season after she shows how intelligent and clever she is , it makes Walt more insufferable.
