@GWRHelp Following on from the above. My ticket is an advance ticket purchased via the southeastern app and is a return from Taunton to Stonegate (via Paddington). The return ticket is one week from now in the opposite direction. Where do I send the delay repay claim? GWR?
@GWRHelp I’ve spent a small fortune of a first class ticket for the 14:43 Taunton to Paddington service which is not only just arriving now, is now being terminated at Reading and wasn’t in other order advertised. Why? Note- I don’t want more delay repay, I want what I paid for
@CarolineLucas Both of those things cannot be true at the same time. If you believe it will increase climate change then a priori that comes from an increase in energy supply which itself must drive greater economic and energy security.
Unless you’re proposing to give the stuff away for free
@IainDale@ShippersUnbound As an aside, I’m a fan of the Speccie but gave up my subscribing because I was fed up so much of its prime content, which I paid for, was being coughed up to non-subscribers via podcasts and YouTube episodes. Undoubtedly there’ll be a podcast today/tomorrow with this content
Sarbanes-Oxley turned going public into a $3 million annual compliance nightmare. IPOs dropped 76% in the decade after 2002 -- from 457 average annual IPOs in the 1990s to just 108 from 2003-2012.
The compliance costs hit small companies hardest (obviously). Goldman Sachs absorbs SOX requirements as a rounding error. Your innovative startup burns through Series B funding just to satisfy auditors who've never built anything.
Established corporations love this arrangement. Why compete with disruptive newcomers when Congress erected a regulatory moat around your market position? Private equity now buys promising companies before they can threaten incumbents through public markets. The supposed "investor protection" created the most concentrated corporate landscape in American history.
@Se_Railway Demonstrable lying to a legitimate customer enquiry and making zero effort to find a genuine answer is offensive no matter how you want to frame it.
Your immediate appeal to victimhood is mystifying.
In the meantime, speak to someone who knows and get the website corrected.
@Se_Railway your website says that advance tickets are currently available until 17 July but the purchase screen only allows purchases up to 26 June.
What am I missing…?
@Se_Railway 🤣
You’re just BS-ing your way through.
If Advance Tickets *only* available up to 12 wks (ie to 13/6), why have I just bought some for 16-18 & 23-25 June?
Or are you going to tell me the ticket below is wrong…?
Your lack of knowledge of your own service is embarrassing
@Se_Railway No, that directs you to the “can I get a refund on my advance ticket” & “can I get a refund” FAQs.
The FAQ is clear: “When are Advance Tickets Available?” Not “What dates can Advance Tickets be amended to”
Have bought >500 advance tickets. Not new to this
Stop making it up.
@EnglandRugby £200+ a ticket for that?
Borthwick needs to come out apologise unreservedly.
That performance was simply not good enough. Shameful, even.
@nationalexpress just had a chat with one of your coach drivers bc her coach has same reference as my ticket but not the same destination. “I’m just coach driver, don’t ask me, find a guy in a purple jacket”
1st time using your service. Is this customer service level normal? Bad
@Se_Railway The 05:45 London Charing Cross service from Stonegate appears to have gone AWOL despite seemingly departing Etchingham, the previous stop, on time. Any idea what’s happening?
@Se_Railway Any joy on this one yet…? Your advance ticket banner still claims tickets are available up to 13 March whereas you can only select to 5 March on the website (and 19th Feb on the app)
@Se_Railway Hi. The banner on your website says that advance tickets are available until Friday 6th March but when I go to purchase online the last day is 26th Feb (website) or 12th Feb (app).
What gives?
