@PUNC14 I would recommend a rotation! The skills and confidence you gain, as well as learning different pressure of different areas is absolutely priceless!
Today marks 1 year since I started my 1st ever shift as a newly qualified nurse. My advice to any newly qualified waiting to start their new post- reflect, whether you write it down or discuss it in your head. It will help your journey, and help you to grow as a nurse!
Have not tweeted in a little while! 4months in my NQN post and am growing (knowledge and my waistline ๐) with every shift I do! Even through difficult times, I have no regrets!!
I love my job but for the first time in just over 3 years as of now I am having paid annual leave! Plan is to relax, catch up with some friends, do some fun bits, complete some reflections and enjoy some down time! ๐
To be working as a nqn in a place that stole my heart 9 years ago is a big enough privilege, but to be nominated for a PAFTA 'junior nurse of the year' has literally made me burst! My initial thoughts 'who on earth would want to nominate me!' #PAFTA#UHPT#PAEDS
Since finishing uni, i have realised that I have a love...of reading actual books! Okay so they are medical related but it's not a textbook! In my Amazon basket sits the language of kindness: a nurses story and hard pushed: a midwives story.
@CalvinMoorley @WeStudentNurse@WeNurses Be organised!! It can occasionally feel like things are getting too much. But with a study guide type thing in place it takes off some of the pressure ๐
@puncsandy@jakivy@PUNC14@CYPStNN@WeCYPnurses @StNurseProject This seems a common trend sandy so you are not alone there! Hope all is going well for you! It's nice to see your tweets! ๐
I am delighted @UHP_NHS is now inviting colleagues to make a ๐pledge https://t.co/vI17eTDHbQ . We have already had over 100 pledges in a matter of hours #RainbowUHP#1BigTeam
