@ClaireCoutinho "Thatβs why 3% of British homes have air con, compared to 90% in the US, Japan and Korea."
I think you need to stop telling porkies?
Is a ban that was introduced in Dec 2021 responsible for 97% of UK housing stock not having air con? Of course not!
@chapatoni@TUIUK You've bought and paid for something. The retailer can't necessarily resell it so they'd be at a loss.
You should have insurance so claim on it rather than targeting the holiday company?
@tsmiggy You have an income. Your income is above the tax threshold. You pay tax.
You still make use of services paid for from taxation. Why shouldn't you pay tax?
For complete transparency, my pension is my income. I pay tax.

Yes public charging is expensive, but rarely 93p/kWh, and charger installation averages around Β£1200, not Β£2000
@RobertJenrick 253 working days in a year, so Β£4 a day better off. That Β£4 represents the 20% tax saved, so 1.5 hours overtime pays Β£20 instead of Β£16 (ignoring NI). Hourly rate (assuming 1T for overtime) is Β£13.33?
@Perky_43 Get some square post that has a side length equal to the diagonal width of the diamond peice your need.
Mark the diamond shape carefully and cut the corners off the square profile. This will give you the correct diamond shape and you can glue the wastage to create another post.
