-عام ١٩٧٦ اجتمعت القيادات المسيحية مع المبعوث الأميركي دين براون أواخر آذار أملاً بخطة انقاذ سحريّة، النتيجة كانت دخول القوات السوريّة الى لبنان بتنسيق مع الأميركي (أسطورة ترحيل المسيحيين عبر القوارب مانت لتغطية طلب النجدة من السوري). أثير عندها خطاب مسيحي شامل عن مؤامرة كسينجر ضد المسيحيين.
-عام ١٩٩٠ قصفت الطائرات السورية قصر بعبدا بتنسيق مع الأميركي لتستلم سوريا الملف اللبناني بشكل كامل لمدة ١٥ عاماً. كان الرهان على الدور الأميركي مخيّباً للآمال.
-اعتقدت قيادات ١٤ آذار أن الولايات المتحدة لن تسمح لحزب الله بقلب الطاولة في ٧ أيار عام ٢٠٠٨ وكان الرهان خاطئاً.
-آمنت القيادات المسيحيّة وغيرها من المعادين لحزب الله أن "الرفيق ترمب" هو المنقذ هذه المرة ولا لبس بذلك، فهو سيسحق ايران وأذرعها. ترمب طلب حتى الآن وبشكل علني ٣ مرات تدخل أمير جبهة النصرة أبو محمد الجولاني في لبنان للقضاء على حزب الله.
متى تستفيق هذه القيادات والأحزاب من وهمها؟

استثنائي هو مسعود بزشكيان رغم بساطته. في حسابات القوة والضعف، يبدو الرجل مقارنة مع اسلافه من رؤساء إيران الأقل كاريزمية، لكنه الوحيد الذي شهد خلال ولايته التي لم تصل بعد إلى عامين أحداثا تحتاج عقود لتقع.

واليوم، يجد بزشكيان نفسه، وهو الذي دخل السلطة بين الجنائز والصواريخ، يجد نفسه يوقّع اتفاق سلام مع رئيس أميركي.
سيذكر التاريخ زمن بزشكيان، الرجل البسيط الذي اصبح رئيساً دون أن يحلم بذلك، والذي كُتب في عهده قسماً استثنائياً من تاريخ إيران التي لم تتوقف عن الانتقال من مرحلة إلى أخرى.
