@3d_musketeers@3DPProfessor@JustinLevy_ In a nutshell, each addressable LED has a logic chip and 3 colored LED's inside. The logic handles the data and controls each LED channel, then passes the remainder of whatever data has been sent to the next logic chip in the chain.
@BillieRubenMake@OctoPrint3D Not only is the behavior and mentality of this "us vs them" just unacceptable, but they're not mutually exclusive either. Klipper is capable of working with Octoprint and vice versa. Trying to compare them is apples/oranges

^ as long as you've got a breadboard, a few wires, and one of those USB Programmers for these and Platformio, you can spin one of these up in about 10 minutes. Rest of the time can be spent making a pretty enclosure!
@Sparta Oof bruh, take it slower. Your body isn't an enemy you have to beat into submission. Making daily healthy changes incrementally sucks less and sticks longer. Try cutting back on sugary drinks only first, get comfortable with that, then move on to the next thing. <3 your self!
@bornity @setlahs I can tell you exactly why it's two boards actually! That's a module typically used as a sub-pcb in larger devices. They've gone and slapped a USB-C interface on it's generic pinout to make a standalone device!
