PhotoBridge sends photos and videos directly from iPhone or Mac to Pixel over local Wi-Fi.
Live Photos are preserved as Motion Photos. No PhotoBridge account or intermediate cloud.
Still beta:

A week after shipping PixelBridge, user feedback showed me I'd baked my own setup into the product: iCloud → always-on Mac → Pixel.
Instead of adding more sources to PixelBridge, I asked: why should a Mac or NAS sit in the middle at all?
So I built PhotoBridge.
It started from my own setup, so shipping early also exposed assumptions I couldn't see with one library.
Still beta, but it's now running on the photo library I actually care about.

Built PixelBridge to back up my Apple Photos library through an old Pixel.
I open-sourced the beta so people could verify that photos never hit my server.
This week it backed up ~54k photos/videos — a few hundred GB — from my own library.
As we known that Rust is safer than C++ and much projects start to introduce Rust especially in some famous codebase like Android, Chromimum. However, why we havn’t heard Rust was involved in electric vehicle or driveless automation because it needs much more safety.🤔@rustlang
We spoke with @matchai to learn why he chose @rustlang for the cross-platform prompt @StarshipPrompt, where he's found performance bottlenecks in libgit and how he's achieved his workstation "end game": https://t.co/KuGnGMqpDC
