I published a short essay on @peacc positions praxis elaborating a left position on Taiwan. It was an honor to be on a roundtable with esteemed Taiwanese scholars Joyce Liu, Yi-yi Hsieh, Kerim Friedman, and Andy Chih-ming Wang. https://t.co/wwgDi5X8Ps
@Vladislava237 For me, that person 100% is Zhang Chunqiao. A genuine revolutionary with amazing command of revolutionary Marxism, Zhang’s analysis of wage, class and the transition from socialism to capitalism was exceptionally sharp and thought-provoking.
@liuzhao_cn My general takeaway: Arrighi and Brenner’s definitions of capitalism are starkly different . Therefore, their conclusions of how capitalism originated and how it could be overcome are distinct from each other as well.
I am pleased to announce the publication of Sam Stark, "The Eighteenth Brumaire in the United States, Germany, and France, 1852–1933: Meanings and Uses in Context" (https://t.co/XFMYA6MK7U) in the book series I edit : Marx and Marxisms: New Horizons
