Quantum error correction scientist. Working to implement deeper and more complex algorithms on quantum computers via advanced quantum algorithmic cooling.
Check out our work on implementing two different logical CNOT gates on two different #QEC codes. In the process, we found a logical CNOT outperforming the physical qubit CNOT! So awesome to work with the great people and technology at @QuantinuumQC! https://t.co/xmOpKrJPWM
My team at @QuantinuumQC is looking for multiple engineers to work on compilers for our state-of-the-art trapped-ion quantum computers. Happy to answer questions if interested, please DM. Learn more and apply below.

@FairlyAstute@quantum_graeme I appreciate the sentiment. Biased but I think the Quantinuum hardware and theory teams have been making great progress in the field of experimental QEC. However, there is much to explore and discover in QEC, and so I am excited to see what others will do on our devices.
@quantum_graeme@QuantinuumQC I am both surprised and proud that our company released this (we typically don't try to rock the boat). As a scientist, I continue to enjoy that Quantinuum has so far been a relatively low BS company.
@JoshKoomz @Tonyransford@DavidHa03746758 Remember to wear the yellow ones to stand out and make the most memorable impressions. Plus, it'll be harder to distinguish you from Russ.
If you are interested in developing QEC or related software (e.g., realistic simulation, QEC, etc.) for the QCCD ion trap architecture @QuantinuumQC, feel free to contact me, @nachi182, or @DavidHa03746758. #qec23

@DavidHa03746758 To add to that, "Advanced Physicist" is typically a position for those that recently received a PhD and there a levels above that. Also, readers in the future, feel free to reach out and strike up a conversation regardless of a formal position is open. We are always happy to chat
To be clear: work be either for 1) QEC theory or 2) software development for realistic simulations (with potential overlap with QEC work). Feel free to talk to us if you are interested in related work as well.
If you are interested in a summer internship in QEC or generally working on QC theory at @QuantinuumQC, see: https://t.co/DBmHOgFExl #qec23#qec#quantum
