@The_Patriot9@NebraskaNice83@AdamKinzinger Then in debate:
Sen. John Conness affirmed the proposed language โdeclare[s] that the children of all parentage . . . should be regarded and treated as citizens of the United States, entitled to equal civil rights with other citizens of the United States.โ
Historian indeed.
@The_Patriot9@NebraskaNice83@AdamKinzinger In the words of the great Inigo Montoya: "I don't think it means what you think it means." SCOTUS has ruled on that several times over 100 years as well and you're wrong. Everyone here but foreign diplomats are subject to the jurisdiction thereof.
Not a great patriot, are we?
@NebraskaNice83@AdamKinzinger Does "all persons" mean all persons? SCOTUS for over 100 years says it does, so it's rather irrelevant what you think about people being born here. Constitution is rather clear.
Grow up; read better.
@focusonliberty@KurtSchlichter Correct, bc the way the 14A is currently written as "all persons" i don't think there is a chance even in time this will change. And it shouldn't, bc words matter.
@harpua71burner@BasedMikeLee So... write a law forcing folks that want to mail in ballots to confirm citizenship prior.
Don't enact law that makes me do the same thing every time I change my address but vote in person.
@admiralNELS69@StrategicWin5@RRR33344455566@AmericaExpanded@RedEaglePatriot Trump's new deal appears to also give sanctions relief and far more in unfreezed assets (nuclear talks in future lol). Are you saying Trump gained leverage from backing out of the deal... only to put us in a worse deal with all that leverage?
@harpua71burner@BasedMikeLee If law were to pass, yes men would have to go through same process, but this would disproportionately affect women. Quick search: 84% of women change name, either taking spouse's name or hyphenating, only 6% of men do. Why force anyone, but mostly women, to do so? Not needed.
@admiralNELS69@StrategicWin5@RRR33344455566@AmericaExpanded@RedEaglePatriot Don't understand your logic, you completely neglect to concede that Trump caused all this by backing out. If still in the deal that's a problem he'd be negotiating for now to extend the old deal or get a better deal. Instead he was caught with his pants down and cost the world.
@admiralNELS69@StrategicWin5@RRR33344455566@AmericaExpanded@RedEaglePatriot You keep asking this question like it's an intelligent one. Biden not one that backed out of deal and said he could get a better one. How is this on Biden?
Why hasn't Trump done anything good with this since he backed out of deal. That's the Q worth asking.
@harpua71burner@BasedMikeLee Indeed, read up. Many married women without a passport, or Real ID unavailable in Texas and I think only available in less than 10 states total, would need to get one of those to register. Registration needs to be done any time you move or change name.
