Mondays are for organizing supplements for the week! Check out SuppTrack, the new supplement tracking app I've been co-developing! 👇

This is so cool to see! When I hacked together the first version of Awesome Breathing over the course of a few days it was out of frustration because I wanted/needed a simple, configurable breathwork tool and couldn't find one that fit my needs!

[Bob Troia @BobTroia]

We built Awesome Breathing (https://t.co/Fce5gN2xXm) for people who want a few calm minutes in their day. Somewhere along the way it also became lab equipment.

To date, over 10 published studies and dissertations have used the app to pace participants or cited it in their methods. Among them:

• Psychology & Health ("The immediate perceived and physiological stress-lowering effect of slow-paced breathing in daily life")
• Perceptual and Motor Skills ("Balancing speed and accuracy: the impact of breathing frequency on fine and gross motor tasks")
• Scientific Reports ("Early life adversity blunts the subjective and physiological relaxation response in healthy adults")
• Frontiers in Psychology ("Assessing effectiveness of heart rate variability biofeedback to mitigate mental health symptoms")

They are studies that needed a paced breathing tool exact enough to be part of a protocol, and used ours to deliver the pacing (to be clear, they are not studies of our app nor do they imply endorsement).

That traces back to one early decision. We let you set inhale, exhale and holds to a tenth of a second, because people tuning their resonant breathing frequency asked for it. It turns out precision that serves a serious hobbyist also serves a research protocol. Building for the most demanding version of your user tends to pay off in places you did not anticipate!

Are you using peptides? If so and you are doing your own peptide reconstitution, PepCalc will save you a ton of frustration!

[Bob Troia @BobTroia]

3 years ago, most people had never heard of peptides. Now they’re becoming mainstream.

At the time, @GollyJer and I got tired of spreadsheets and messy calculations every time we needed to prepare research peptides for reconstitution. So we built PepCalc to make life easier - it is now the most reviewed and trusted peptide calculator app in the world!

- Instant exact measurements, multi-peptide blends, and saved protocols, all without the guesswork.

- Constantly improved based on real feedback. Private, no signup required, and no ads.

The notice was sent to Cloudflare (DNS provider) who then forwarded it to my hosting provider. Even of it was an honest misunderstanding, you see how easy of a malicious attack vector it can be to harm any website - go after domain registrar/DNS, then hosting provider, etc.

For years I've featured Tru Niagen(R) on the Resources section of my website as a supplement I recommend. I was actually promoting their product. Today I received an AI bot generated DCMA copyright notice? @CharlesMBrenner @truniagen

Looks like @function no longer requires 2 separate visits (spaced about a week apart) at Quest Diagnostics to complete all of the comprehensive blood draws?

[Quantified Bob @QuantifiedBob]

Well, this didn't age well... #longevity

Buyer beware! 🚨

[Bob Troia @BobTroia]

🚨 Buying supplements on Amazon? You might not get the bottle from the brand/seller you clicked.

Why: Amazon product "commingling" can pool multiple sellers' "same" product under one barcode → Amazon ships the nearest unit (could be counterfeit/expired).

Impact:
⚠️ Buyers: higher risk of bad product
⚠️ Brands: knockoffs → 1⭐️ reviews & lasting listing damage

✅ Amazon says commingling ends for inventory shipped on/after Mar 31, 2026 (seller-traceable stock).

Tip: check "sold by" and always prefer brand storefronts/authorized sellers!

2026: "D!ckbait" is the new clickbait! 🤣😱

[Quantified Bob @QuantifiedBob]

@bryan_johnson Well, if you can't finish your "business" in under a minute, there's already an issue..

[Bob Troia @BobTroia]

@bryan_johnson Yep, I did some n=1 experiments a decade ago demonstrating the impact of cross-country air travel on blood glucose! https://t.co/9xWx80Yz7C

@DrAndyGalpin Care to name any names?

[Quantified Bob @QuantifiedBob]

People obsessed about microplastics getting into their 🍆 but ignore all of the radiation they are getting exposed to flying in planes across the country ✈️☢️

[Bryan Johnson @bryan_johnson]

I’m in D.C. for a thing. Packing my longevity for travel is a lot. A pair of underwear and toothbrush would be so much easier. Sometimes I think you’re right and this whole thing has gotten out of control and I need to chill.

Aw, I just enabled the Blood Pressure Insights feature on my @WHOOP MG today and they were just told by the FDA the feature must be reviewed as a medical device in the US https://t.co/P41doJIXeV #digitalhealth
