At the Confederation of Indian Industry @FollowCII Partnership Summit 2025 in Andhra Pradesh, the plenary session titled “𝐀𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐫𝐛𝐡𝐚𝐫 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐦 – 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚’𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐦 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐡𝐫𝐚 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐡” concluded with insightful discussions on the state’s growing role in India’s quantum ecosystem. Chaired by @naralokesh , Minister for Information Technology, Electronics and Communications, Real Time Governance and Human Resources Development, Government of Andhra Pradesh, the session brought together leading voices from both global and national quantum technology domains.

The panel featured experts from organisations such as @DevroopD , Primus Partners, Dr. JBV Reddy, National Quantum Mission, Pasqal, Dr. K.N. Satyanaryana, IIT Tirupati, Dr. Amith Singhee, @ibm_in , Ganesh Srinivasan, @Microsoft India Development Centre, @QuantrolOx and QNu Labs, with the discussion guided effectively by moderator Sridhar C V of @TCS

Devroop Dhar, India CEO and Co-founder of Primus Partners, contributed insights on how quantum computing is advancing rapidly in India and how it can influence key sectors, including healthcare, cybersecurity, agriculture, finance, energy, and public systems. He also reflected on the strategic importance of building indigenous quantum capabilities to strengthen India’s long-term technological preparedness and sovereignty.

The session also underscored Andhra Pradesh’s proactive leadership in this space. The State unveiled its Quantum Computing Policy, the first such policy introduced by any state in India, and outlined a comprehensive roadmap to advance the development of the Amravati Quantum Valley. These measures reflect a strong commitment to driving innovation, fostering global collaboration and building a highly skilled talent ecosystem for the future.

Through collaborative efforts across industry, government and academia, Andhra Pradesh is positioning itself as a key hub for deep tech and frontier technologies, shaping a forward-looking model for innovation-driven growth and digital leadership.

On Day 3 of Supercomputing India 2025, the Keynote Session on “Open Architecture Approach to Developing Indigenous Capabilities in Quantum Engineering” by Mr. Vishal Chatrath, CEO and Co founder of QuantrolOx, highlighted the urgency of building India’s presence in the global quantum supply chain. He emphasized understanding the quantum landscape and noted that quantum computing is still in Wave 1 of the tech development cycle. He stressed that accelerating progress requires automation, integrated data management and advanced analytics. The session also featured a live demo on quantum edge solutions, showcasing the potential of open architecture platforms for scalable quantum engineering.

The panel emphasized why open architecture is crucial for India’s quantum ecosystem, enabling innovation, transparency, and self-reliance. They highlighted how Indian organisations can actively contribute to this transformation and underscored the importance of being an integral part of the quantum technology supply chain to gain long-term strategic leverage.
