@BBCPanorama Just saw it and some incredibly poor reporting. To me it reflected the worst on the BBC’s journalistic capabilities. Everything else is just trying to read between the lines.
@AllisonPearson You’re too kind Allison. This is the Dunning Kruger effect in action. Once you get one through the door, then it opens up to all the others. Jason is (unfortunately) a symptom of this.
@OldRoberts953@K_Niemietz He’s got a bit of money behind him if Carter Ruck is involved (assuming Cambridge’s denial is true).
This whole thing is getting uncomfortable…
@JonathanBrash@TheHangedMan18 It’s like saying net migration is down but no idea who is leaving and who is entering. It’s not about the top line number it’s about what’s driving it. Statistical literacy is more than saying up or down.. your constituents deserve better
@OldRoberts953@DavidDPaxton It’s telling that he actually has experience in government and therefore understands certain issues versus Starmer (and the majority of his front bench) who don’t and lived off ‘vibes’. Having said that I’m expecting some nightmare foreign policy to come through soon.
