@KevinRothrock Who’s up next in the circus ring? Anatoly Vasserman? I can imagine Tucker chirping, “the mastermind of Russia, carrying all of Russia in his enigmatic, cascading pockets.”
I agree completely, and it's appalling. Hopefully, this won't hold up in any court. The administration at @Columbia can't simply bury their heads in the sand and expect this to just blow over.
@Columbia almost certainly transitioned to school-wide hybrid learning for the rest of the semester solely so that if a protestor harms or kills a Jewish student on or near campus, the university can attempt to argue in subsequent litigation that the student effectively was on campus by his or her own choice, and "therefore" the university is not liable. ("Therefore" is within quotation marks because this is a non-sequitur unless the campus is actually closed entirely, and even then, the school may still be liable for failing to actually stop the pattern of harassment that culminated in a student being maimed or killed.)

On this date in 1939, acting as the ally of Nazi Germany, the USSR invaded Poland, claiming that it was acting to protect national minorities and that the Polish state did not exist.
Heartbreaking news, we hope our friend and colleague @Elizrael returns to her family safe.
