@mattbarton Having said that, you could also show that you can start and finish something big by working on your own game or 5 (tongue in cheek), while working part/full time. There are multiple roads to the same outcome. What really matters is that you demonstrate you can do the job.

@mattbarton Skill wise, I don't think so. I didn't do a game dev degree (I did an IT degree) but I breezed through the programming papers because I already knew what they were teaching. It'll help some with the interview process and it shows you can start and finish something big.
