@newt7215 Yeah, mine is used to deemed export where it costs us nothing to use energy on sunny days. Now it costs 15p/kWh SEG export that we don’t get if we use it locally. Plus on a car there’s wear and tear, insurance cost depends on mileage, etc.

@JohnCantor2 I have a question about https://t.co/E5CNAlFN4s. On default settings (except with pump power set to 0), I calculate the COP as (42+273)/(42-5+6) = 3.66, but the calculator gives 3.70. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance!

I've just produced a similar graph from my own heat pump (2 years worth of data) and it's so noisy that you can't see a pattern like this. Did you use the Carnot equation to estimate the COP?

I know 42 properties with MVHR and no room for an outdoor unit, that could use a fully ducted monobloc to reuse the MVHR intake and exhaust ducts.
