Tonight our union unanimously voted to ratify our first contract. In doing so we've made our workplace better and fairer for current and future Quartzians. Congratulations!
After nearly 12 hours of bargaining yesterday, we are extremely happy to announce that we have reached an agreement with management on our first contract. Our members will be voting on ratification in the coming weeks, but we’re enormously proud of what we’ve accomplished. 🎉🥳
We are proud to announce that yesterday our bargaining committee reached an agreement with the company. We'll be putting it to a ratification vote in the next week or two.
As we hope the company is aware, it is illegal to threaten employees with adverse consequences for taking part in protected concerted activity. We hope to see you at 6:30 tonight!

Today, the Ziff Davis Creators Guild is walking out in protest of management’s egregious and insulting wage proposals.
After over two years of bargaining, management has not worked with us in good faith to secure a fair contract for our members. #WereWorthMore
We’re headed back to the bargaining table today after presenting our economic proposals to the company last month. Inspired by our friends @NewYorkerUnion, we’re sharing testimonials from our members about what our contract negotiation means to them:
BREAKING: The New Yorker Union has voted 98% in favor of authorizing a strike. We stand with our @condenast colleagues in @pk4union and @ars_union, which have also overwhelmingly authorized a strike. Our statement:
Today, after a series of unproductive sessions, a majority of our members joined our bargaining committee at the table to observe our negotiations with management. Management responded by unlawfully demanding that those union members leave.

Today we’re releasing a summary of our recent pay study. Based on data @condenast supplied in September, 2020, the study is a snapshot of our union at a moment in time, but its findings resonate with many present and past @newyorker employees’ experiences. https://t.co/PAVqoPdqDW
Our first bargaining session was exactly one year ago. What a year it's been.
Cheers to the bargaining committee (which just finished its 23rd session), to members past and present, and the @nyguild for all the work they've done to get us a fair and just contract.
