Tesla Telematics Control Unit (TCU). This module combines a Quectel LTE modem, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth radios. It is connected to the main computer via 1000Base-T1 automotive Ethernet and placed on the headliner inside new cars.
The host CPU is QCA6695 WiFi/BLE SoC. I will get access to the firmware later, bet it some kind of OpenWRT.
The LTE modem is based on its own SoC and runs... Android.
I have some ideas about what to do with this TCU.
