I think this is reprehensibly awful to be honest. Giving a platform to soften and humanise someone on the far right who has caused so much division and hate so we can forgive him cos he eats koala genitalia or whatever.
If you were in any doubt of the continued importance of events like @ManchesterPride or the need for organisations like @LGBTfdn look at this letter we’ve just received from Gillian, who felt the need to share her views with us - Happy Pride Gillian!#EqualityWins ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤
This by @womensaid is clever & really important. I just hope that we can also remind people that coercive control has many layers and levels and often it does not have to be all of this to be toxic. It can often exist as benevolence which is why it is so hard to isolate at times.
Waited to post this as I needed to calm down first. I popped into a local pub on Friday evening as I didn’t feel like cooking so thought I’d grab dinner on my way home. It was fairly busy but I found a table and ordered food and a drink.
While I’m sure he’d be flattered, I reckon Turing would rather see the Government ban conversion therapy, the (currently legal) form of LGBT torture that he was subjected to before he died in 1954

Still don’t understand how kettling people, attacking them, pinning them to the ground, throwing them in a van and taking them to the cells is more covid secure than letting them stand quietly outside with masks on.
It’s almost as though Covid isn’t the issue...
Wow I never realised before this week that the real victims of a murder were all the men who didn't carry out that murder. I thought it might be the person who was killed but obviously not. Thanks Twitter.
As govt delays negative Covid test requirement for people travelling to the UK, voters wonder why a party elected on a platform of closing borders can't bring themselves to actually bloody do it.
@drTammiWalker on imprisoned women & suicide. Their often short sentences (e.g. 6 weeks) for non-violent offences makes them 20x more likely to die by suicide in prison, and 36x more likely after release. Unreal. Takeaway? We need to know and do more #HarmtoHope@HarmlessUK
Women in prison are increasingly using methods of #selfharm that have high lethality (more access to ligatures than other means to cope). This can lead to death when in fact they are trying desperately to survive, and their intent was not to die #HarmtoHope@HarmlessUK
