Co-Founder @ResoluteVC: We lead super early seed rounds, including @ActiveFence @AppZen @AvenCard @greenhouse @HelloHeartApp @opendoor @paces_ai @ujetcx @vercel
Every VC had a reason Vercel shouldn't exist.
Guillermo Rauch heard a different reason from every investor he spoke to when building Vercel, and he kept going anyway.
He joined us live at Mercury HQ in SF for Founders in Arms, and this was one of the sharpest moments in the conversation: the idea that consensus is a signal to walk away, not lean in.

Today marks one of the most meaningful milestones in Passport’s journey: we’ve signed an agreement to be acquired by Global-e
Nine years ago, Passport started with a simple but ambitious vision: Help brands reach their global potential. Since then, we’ve built a proprietary global shipping network that now leads the market in transit times and customer experience, along with a full suite of solutions that supports brands at every stage from cross-border enablement to in-country operations and marketplace management. And most importantly, we earned the trust of incredible brands and 3PLs around the world.
What makes this moment special is that great companies are bought, not sold. As we continued to build for the future, Global-e approached us because they saw the value in what this team built: our logistics infrastructure, our operational depth, our customer relationships, and our approach for enabling global commerce.
This partnership is so exciting because our visions to help brands go global are deeply aligned. Together, we can help more brands expand globally, faster and more confidently, with a more complete solution than either company could offer alone.
To our customers: thank you for trusting us with your brands, your growth, and your customers around the world. Many of you took a chance on Passport early, partnered closely with us, pushed us to improve, and helped shape the company we are today.
To our partners: thank you for helping us build a truly global ecosystem. Cross-border commerce is impossible without strong operational and strategic partnerships, and we would not be here without you.
To our investors: thank you for believing in Passport’s vision from the beginning and for supporting us through every stage of growth. Your partnership, guidance, and conviction helped us build a company capable of redefining what global commerce can look like for modern brands.
And to the Passport team: thank you. This moment belongs to all of you. Thank you for the late nights, the ownership, the resilience, the creativity, and the belief in what we were building especially during the hard moments. What this team accomplished over the last 9 years is extraordinary, and this acquisition is a direct reflection of that work.
I couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve built together.
And the best part is we’re just getting started.

It is time for the United States Postal Service to ban junk mail.
Unsolicited spam calls are already prohibited by the FCC. Emails are heavily regulated by the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003. Junk mail is the majority of mail, 100 million trees per year. Enough!
Even at 71, Paul still carries himself with the kind of energy and zest for life most people lose much earlier.
I asked him what makes a great life:
"God, family, friends, fun, and service."
"My significance is not gonna be from being a trader. My significance is gonna be my family."
"If I think about the end of my life and I look back, I'm not gonna be thinking about the 1987 crash or Bitcoin. I'm gonna be thinking about who I loved and who loved me, and what kind of times we had."
"When I say legacy, I don't mean words. I mean deeds. What have you done that allowed other people to enjoy and better their station in life?"
Idea for the @Tesla and really @Tesla_AI team. In Tesla cars without an FSD subscription, when a supercharger location is selected from the navigation, prompt the driver to turn on FSD (for free) about 1/2 mile before, so they can drive in and park on autopilot. Makes things safer and previews FSD to folks who don’t have it yet. I’m seeing some wild driving behavior as people manually back in reverse to some of the chargers.
I'm excited to share that https://t.co/71Omxjf8e1 has raised a $3.3M pre-seed round, led by @ResoluteVC to build the AI-native layer between business goals and work.
Most AI today is doing execution work in a vacuum. Without your goals, metrics, and live progress in the context window, you get motion without alignment -- it's the missing link in a lot of AI deployments right now.
As AI drives down the cost of execution, the bottleneck shifts to strategy, coordination, and alignment.
That’s the gap we’re building Brev to close.

@mitchellh@wholemars It’s amazing! but also wild that even existing owners of slightly older Teslas don’t know how far it’s come. I even noticed the difference going from a 2023 to a 2025 Juniper Model Y. That front bumper camera seems to make a huge difference - much smoother FSD.

BREAKING: WHOOP RAISES $575M AT $10.1B VALUATION
I am pleased to announce that we’ve raised $575M at a $10.1B valuation to accelerate our mission of unlocking human performance and healthspan globally.
This round was led by Collaborative Fund with participation from 2PointZero Group, Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), Mubadala Investment Company, Abbott, Mayo Clinic, Macquarie Capital, Glade Brook, B-Flexion, IVP, Foundry, Accomplice, Affinity Partners, Promus Ventures, and Bullhound Capital alongside a group of individual investors including Cristiano Ronaldo, LeBron James, Rory McIlroy, Virgil van Dijk, and Mathieu van der Poel.
This investor group and this moment reflect a powerful evolution underway for Whoop and the broader healthcare market.
Whoop was born in performance - trusted by the best athletes in the world to train, recover, and compete at the highest level. That foundation remains core to who we are. You see that in the iconic athlete investors joining this round.
But it also represents our push into broader health.
In the past 12 months, WHOOP has received medical clearances, launched blood testing, and created a platform that has saved lives. Abbott and Mayo Clinic - two of the most respected and influential institutions in global healthcare - are now investors in Whoop. These are organizations that have shaped modern medicine. Their decision to partner with us is a clear validation of where our technology is headed.
Healthcare systems around the world are reactive. For too long, they have waited for people to get sick, then intervene. Chronic disease is rising and costs continue to climb.
At Whoop, we believe the future looks fundamentally different. We are building the most powerful, personal, preventive health platform in the world - powered by continuous biometric data, advanced analytics, and AI to help people understand their bodies and improve their health in real time.
I am grateful to our team, our members, and our partners for believing in this vision. I’ve been building this company for 14 years and I’ve never been more excited for the future.
My dear front-end developers (and anyone who’s interested in the future of interfaces):
I have crawled through depths of hell to bring you, for the foreseeable years, one of the more important foundational pieces of UI engineering (if not in implementation then certainly at least in concept):
Fast, accurate and comprehensive userland text measurement algorithm in pure TypeScript, usable for laying out entire web pages without CSS, bypassing DOM measurements and reflow
I would like to offer to pay the salaries of TSA personnel during this funding impasse that is negatively affecting the lives of so many Americans at airports throughout the country
Vercel now powers the Notion agent platform.
Not only are they a great company and product I use daily, I think they're going to be one of the big winners of the agent era.
The main 'runtime' of an agent is English (natural language) documents and specs. The other ingredient is access to data and integrations. Notion is at the center of both.
Incredible write up from our founder @dorna_at_gavel - those on the inside building with AI are trying to help everyone prepare for some massive changes:
