@Chuso_2032 @AndreaG114 @LSammons612 @StarskyGym This is sort of what I meant, but I wouldn't say "the judges are bad at their jobs" so much as "telling when a twist is initiated should be possible for judges at this level, and MAG judges do it no problem, so it feels silly/lazy to me to not train WAG judges to do this"

@Chuso_2032 @LSammons612 @StarskyGym They’ve changed it so everything is treated like the cheat, even if you do it right!! Some people were saying it’s because the judges had too hard of a time determining if the twist was initiated in the air, which feels like a skill issue

@LSammons612 @StarskyGym They’re considering all of them the same as the versions without the half turn!! Whereas this quad they differentiated between skills where the twist was initiated in the air and downgraded where the gymnast just caught in mixed grip (same element as no twist)

If you’re arguing that something is proof someone is too green to be mentally tough, and that thing could also be said of these legends, then it’s… not good evidence someone is too green to be mentally tough.
