I'm looking forward to meeting our @THE_UCLan 2019/2020 applicants tomorrow, along with @jshaw_uclan, at the #UCLanApplicantDay. It's always great introducing new students to what we do and to #Preston/#Lancashire. ๐น@MarketingLancs
@virgin@VirginMediaCorp Your customer services advised, on reporting a lost mobile phone, that once new SIM issued, a 2nd request to cancel number could not be processed the same day, and customer liable for all charges until cancelled. Is this true???
A4 I don't have anything on Clean Language to share, but Jackson & McKergow's chapter on language in The Solutions Focus is a great read if you've not come across it

A3 I'm wondering whether I separate out the two and consider Claean Language as a principle of my coaching and metaphor as a tool ... hmm .. food for thought

@LJ_Rees@Garethcareers A2 Yes, thanks. This looks really useful. I mainly work with students and a lot of the conversations are about their journeys/ pathways through their studies.

@JulietEFlynn@zoe_connell_ This lines up with Jackson & McKergows 'Language' in their SIMPLE Principles; using the coachees language means the words are already defined by the person who needs them

@ninacanttweet @SDFACUK A1 That's intersting, I hadn't realised how many metaphors I used until I started working with students whose first language isn't English - highlighted by how often they just didn't 'land'
