➡️ Post treatment:
—> immediate: ground glass margin of at least 5mm corresponds to reduced disease recurrence
—> intermediate: shrinking ground glass
—> long term: “post ablation consolidative focus” - contracting lesion size with no new growth, lobulation or enhancement
🩻 BSTI ASM 2025 Day 1
🫁 Our second morning session focusses on non surgical lung treatments. Understanding how Stereotactic Ablative Radiotherapy (SABR) is delivered and the expected appearances of treated lesions and lungs on post treatment scans
➡️ Use of GA & HFJV - minimal ventilatory movement to access “no fly zone”
➡️ Access risk due to vessel proximity acts as a heat sink which will draw thermal energy away from target lesion
➡️ Peripheral lesion carries risk of bronchopleural fistula formation
➡️ Navigational bronchoscopy considered safe, fast & accurate
➡️ Allows access to smaller central lesions nestled amongst vasculature & airways
➡️ Reduced haemorrhage due to planning and parallel course of vasculature and airways

For those rioting against People of colour / Muslims, 2.5 million Indian soldiers (this was before the partition of 1947- so included both Muslim and Hindus) fought / gave their lives for this country against the Nazis.
For those rioting against Arabs coming to this country , again Iraqi, Syrian and lebanese battalions fought for this country at El Alamein against the Nazis.
When the economy of this country lay in ruin after WW2 , it was towards the Black Caribbean population that we looked towards, to come to the UK and help us to rebuild the economy.
The relatives of these people that you despise / beat up today were patriots and gave up their lives for the UK against Nazism and helped to rebuild this country.
Their contribution has been far greater to the history of this country than yours Which serve to destroy communities and seed discord between people of different colour/ faiths. I know who I would rather have in this country.
Nigel Farage, Tommy Robinson et al. would be better served learning their history
