@CBHessick "Know" is defined elsewhere in the NC Rules as "actual knowledge of the fact in question. A person's knowledge may be inferred from circumstances." Could a defense communication re. mens rea issue followed by maintence of charge be violative.
@yonashav Super interesting. If I understand correctly, this oversight system would touch the costly (and therefore centralized) training of giant models from scratch or full-rank fine-tuning (retraining all parameters). Does LoRA throw a wrench in the works from your perspective?
@abditum low bar to clear but I'm also skeptical of the lasting effects of any timeboxed external training session to resolve institutional (or interpersonal) problems. These consultants often don't/can't measure their impact and mgmt generally views going through the motion as sufficient
@lionel_trolling this is the thin versus thick rule of law discussion, but using the term democracy. Anyways, one can't have either (RoL or democracy) w/out substantive guarantees. For example, there is no RoL or democracy without free speech or prohibitions of discrimination. It's a sham.
If you’re gonna blast your dubstep + Avatar/LOTR soundtrack mix on the subway car at least pay for Spotify premium so we aren’t subjected to Dawn soap ads
