Hearing people claim that we are going to "strike again" if the next pay review/recommendation is poor is beyond deluded. At the first real opportunity, the deal was accepted on a political 22% spin.
@vintedUK@vinted my breast pump was broken in transit via @YodelOnline and I am unable to get compensation/speak to a human. Is there an email/phone I can contact?
We're calling for a halt to recruitment of PAs in general practice following our consultation with over 5,000 GPs, until they are regulated & practices are in a position to implement our forthcoming guidance on scope of practice, induction & supervision. https://t.co/Zoa7GTbjmJ
@TfL is there a diversion on the 154 towards Morden as every time I have got it this week it’s terminated early at Rosehill (despite the bus saying it’s going to Morden). Can’t find anything on TFL website
🔴 NEW: IT blunder allowed PAs at Calderdale and Huddersfield to "illegally" prescribe drugs inc opiates and sedatives
PAs prescribed oxycodone, codeine, lorazepam, diazepam and midazolam, despite being "instructed they are not legally able to prescribe”

Heartbreaking stories coming out from final hear medics who have randomly been allocated all around the country for the next 2 years of work as a doctor
They have done this to reduce their ‘work’ and there’s an agenda to push people out of medicine in the U.K. NHS to increase the uptake of private and push from the doctors for it
Retention isn’t what @NHSE_WTE et al whitely want. So they are doing things to go along with that objective
I believe there is a deliberate plan to make being an NHS doctor in the UK as unattractive and unsustainable as possible. The travesty with #UKFPO randomly allocating new doctors anywhere in the country this year is another example of this. What other profession would force you to uproot and move to the other side of the country away from the friends and support network you’ve built up over 5 or 6 years? Other things include flooding the NHS with non doctors, creating bottle necks in specialist training to prevent progression, eroding pay and devaluing the profession in the main stream media.
@wesstreeting what are you planning to do about this? Retention, retention, retention. @mtpennycook
Funny how MP salaries increased in line with inflation (up 37% since 2008) but when the rest of the public sector asks for the same - it's 'bullying' the gov. Junior Docs have had a 26% pay cut since 2008 - it's not a pay rise they want - it's pay restoration in line w/ inflation
@EmmaWiley16@TheBMA@trentconsultant 2% for Junior Doctors and I'm already dreading the first nursery bill after I return from mat leave. How long before I have to reduce my working hours because it won't be worth working to pay childcare costs?
As the #payrestoration protest wraps up, @ERunswickBMA calls for doctors to "go home & do the work."
"You have to organise your colleagues, you have to get us ready for strike action, you have to get us ready to win."
@bmj_latest @BMA_JuniorDocs @TheBMA@Doctors_Vote
The continued demonstration of misunderstanding of strike action.
Strikes give you a preview as to what life would be like if working conditions do not improve. As everyone will leave and who will be there to run services then?
Blame those in power, not those striking
