In the end you're never going to be certain you're on the right path, you just have to listen to the call and trust that it will all work out.
The path isn't clearly laid out, but if you don't start walking, you won't get anywhere.
@torty_mercy I like when life plays out like Nollywood like this 😂. He reaped what he sowed in no time. And you are right, the japa dynamics differs greatly from couple to couple. Countries like Canada/US are pro-women. Couples that survive stick together and love each other deeply.
Dear child of God, there will come a time where nothing outside the kingdom will interest you. If you hold fast to your faith, you will be satisfied with the goodness of God.
@ToksOdunsi@atireneochukz@SirJarus There’s no lesser dignity in doing 9-5. Whether you choose business or corporate work, bottom line is you’re making money. You can do that in a volatile environment like Nigeria where sudden policies affect your biz or you can build a great portfolio and be highly headhunted.
@afolabi275@SirJarus Entrepreneurship is not for the weak, especially in 9ja. Business owners have to compete with bigger companies that can knock them out of the market and implement their models. Add that to raising funds, building brand loyalty and retaining good staff. It takes a lot of mastery
@WithChude_ But his wife was always so kind. They had issues with teachers never staying but we never heard her raise her voice or anything. I remember they had a girl living with them who also attended classes. She would give us gist of the drama in their home.
@WithChude_ I attended St Nicholas briefly in 2011. She was the proprietress and Emeka Ike would come to the school occasionally. He would gather all the students in an assembly and say we should report our teachers and other staff. That they were after him. It was embarrassing to see.
@Itsl3xicon Jesus is your answer. Jesus. He’s all you need, and all you will ever need. Ask Him to help you. Tell Him you want to be found by Him. Only a future in Jesus is secure. Your efforts are not enough. YOU NEED HIM. Only Jesus can make you whole, complete and at peace.
