Using a microscope equipped with a time-lapse camera to image fluorescence-tagged proteins in real-time, researchers captured a critical step in the process of cell division, which resembles some kind of organic fireworks https://t.co/sEDZ2LCuOn | https://t.co/UNpdhNlnDW
@suoihprom @spignal@nic_carter There’s nothing to say bc
@spignal is talking about misuse of securities labels on a commodity, and @nic_carter about auditability. AFAIK they actually agree that “market cap” is not the best term
@kevinabosch can’t raise my hand in clubhouse and can’t message you here😂
Would love to discuss this tokenizing yourself with you, I have some thoughts
In the end managed realities are created when one side has power + there’s something the other wants to believe. We’re complicit when we participate. Institutions push their preferred narratives, and what we see now are just the effects of imbalanced social systems at scale
Was just on clubhouse room hosted by @ericweinstein on managed realities and realized how much it’s like listening to a live podcast except people who are allowed to speak can invite their friends. Convo was free form, less pointed than Twitter format.
The opposite, platforms or institutions that are free and hands off, are messy (socially, legally). People have to all agree to and even seek out discomfort and disagreement (>1 opinion, party), and be ok with the public being mad (easier if smaller group or independent).
