Excited to introduce the Teal Card! Our young people are facing an increasingly insecure future. The Teal Card is a long-term investment in our young people. https://t.co/1Kmrx8GI8F #tealcard
Very sad to hear about the sudden death of Efeso Collins. He was a lovely man with a deep commitment to his family and community. He will be missed 🙏 https://t.co/bYNtYp4a0w
@secondzeit@coughlthom Looking forward to debating the north island based party leaders on my home turf, in the greatest auditorium in the country (photo: Venues Ōtautahi).
@ClaireMabey Loved ‘Darkmans’ but not sure if it made her Happy either! “Barker admits to “mixed feelings” about the novel form ever since completing H(a)ppy, “which – to all intents and purposes – destroyed the novel (as a form) for The Author”.”
@HaydenDonnell@brendon_harre Not quite. You need to separate funding, delivery and asset ownership out. Funding should be crown-led, delivery from alliance contracting model and ownership sorted post-local government reform. Crown Infra Ptrs can/has already doing funding.
@debtekawa I’d also say the media are incapable too! But out on the streets, cafes and bars, people are very interested in the conversation. People are both despondent but also worried and uncertain as to what the future looks like.
@Orc_hard_NZ @LongCovidKiwi@nzlabour@NZNationalParty@NZGreens@Maori_Party@nzfirst@actparty We did get a local enquiry on this but don’t have a formal policy on it. It is a lingering issue and I know people with it/had it. Health system is in such a mess that it’s not getting much focus but will need to be on the agenda.
@offbalancetweet Correct. Has post-GFC/post-EQ vibes here. The rush back to ‘surplus’ had negative long-term investment outcomes. Things do look tight but not at panic stations.
