Husbend, dad. Ideas, politics. Human & minority rights. Preshevë, Bujanoc & Medvegjë. Former President of Albanian National Minority Council in Serbia. My views
Serbia speaks about EU standards and integration, while systematically excluding Albanians from the justice system in the Presevo Valley.
Without equal representation in the judiciary, there can be no justice, no equality, and no trust in institutions.
Over 200 judges appointed in Serbia.
Not a single Albanian.
In the latest appointments by Serbia’s High Judicial Council, Albanians from the Presevo Valley received 0% representation.
At the Basic Court in Bujanovac today, there are 8 Serbian judges and only 3 Albanian judges — despite Albanians being the majority population.
This is institutional ethnic exclusions
The Republic of Kosova is committed to EU and NATO membership. The renewed momentum of enlargement for both NATO and the EU require unity of engagement towards Kosova. The EU needs to deliver on the EU candidate status and opening of accession negotiations and NATO must strengthen its southeastern flank with Kosova's membership.
This is the message we conveyed in a series of important and fruitful meetings on the sidelines of the Eighth Summit of the European Political Community in Yerevan, in discussions with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, EU HR/VP Kaja Kallas, and other world leaders, including those from countries with which we aim to establish diplomatic relations, such as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and our host, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
At the summit, I also had the honor of speaking as part of two panels: “European Coalition Against Drugs” and “Reinforcing Democratic Resilience and Addressing Hybrid Threats.”
🇷🇸 blocked funds towards Albanians 🇦🇱 in the Presheva Valley, sent by 🇽🇰. This directly affects 3,650 students, 94 orphans, 957 farmers, over 756 students, 139 NGOs and thousands of citizens who depend on these programs.
This is not what a democracy looks like.
Sir Noel Malcolm was at Harvard University when he was receiving constant calls from international media. At the outset of the war in Kosova in 1998, he published the most important international historical account of the country. By the time he was receiving those calls, the war was already well underway, ending in June of 1999 following the NATO intervention. His work was timely, as propaganda was being used to justify genocide, and it documented the systemic discrimination of Albanians. He set the record straight at a moment when distorted history was being weaponized, so that the truth of the past could shape a more just future.
I had the honor of having a number of discussions with Sir Malcolm last night in London, who is currently at Oxford University, and of expressing my gratitude for what remains the most definitive English-language scholarly account on Kosova.
In Bogota, we signed 3 key agreements with my counterpart Paula Andrea Cerón Arboleda: visa waiver for diplomatic & official passports, political consultations, and cooperation between diplomatic academies, an important step in deepening 🇽🇰🇨🇴 ties.
A positive and productive meeting today with President @EmmanuelMacron at the Élysée Palace in Paris. We discussed security, EU integration, and reforms, with Kosova fully aligned with EU foreign policy, as well as expanding cooperation in education, investment, and trade. Grateful for France’s continued support. 🇽🇰🇫🇷
Together with DM Hoyos, I signed the visa waiver agreement for diplomatic and official passports, an important step in advancing 🇽🇰 🇵🇦 ties. We also explored opportunities for cooperation, particularly in tourism and higher education, as we work to deepen our partnership further

We argue that in today’s Balkans communities are no longer expelled by force — but by paperwork, discrimination and blocked futures.

📍 Washington, D.C. | Advocating for Albanian Minority Rights in Serbia
Albanians For America met with Shaip Kamberi, Faton Bislimi and Ragmi Mustafi to advance advocacy efforts on behalf of Albanians in the Presheva Valley.
Discussions centered on protecting minority rights, addressing discrimination, and ensuring sustained U.S. attention to the treatment of ethnic Albanians in southern Serbia.
Engagements included meetings at the U.S. State Department, as well as discussions with Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX), Rep. Congressman Keith Self (R-TX), and Jason Steinbaum.
AFA remains committed to ensuring that the rights and dignity of Albanians in the region remain firmly on the U.S. policy agenda.
Jews in Albania, Kosova were saved and protected by Albanian nationalists, not Albanian internationalists or Albanian muslims.

Danas će 50000 Srba da zauzme 10 poslanickih mesta u skupštini Kosova, a milion Albanaca 80. Mnogo su ugroženi?!
Sa druge strane, skoro 100000 Abanaca u Srbiji ima 1 poslanika
