Farewell to one of the greatest pianists – Alfred Brendel has died aged 94.
The Czech-born pianist was one of the great musicians of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, renowned for his interpretations of the keyboard works of Haydn, Mozart, Schubert, Brahms, Liszt and Beethoven. Brendel retired from the concert hall in 2008 and spent his final years teaching young musicians, as well as writing essays on music and making his own collections of poetry.

MSKCC experience of CSF cfDNA sequencing in >700 patients now out! Actionable somatic alts in a large fraction of patients + emerging resistance alts merge with repeated sampling. Worse survival if ctDNA detected. Pre-analytic factors discussed. https://t.co/QGwQHnU2ey

#neurofibroma with "mini" Schwannian nodules in #neurofibromatosis1 patient with multiple spinal tumors. Important points when encountering this is to: 1-not call the tumor a #schwannoma, 2-not interpret as a hypercellular/atypical focus within neurofibroma #neuropath#BSTpath
We recently marked the 140th anniversary of @MSKCancerCenter's founding in 1884 as the first cancer center of its kind in the world. Thank you to the NYC businesses who helped us celebrate with #NYCforMSK, including the @EmpireStateBldg.
