Another disturbing incident at @mahabank Ashti Branch, Jalna, Maharashtra highlighting the growing safety concerns for bankers.
The incident shown in this video is a stark reminder that attacks and intimidation against bank staff cannot be ignored.
Attacks on bankers are attacks on our financial system. Banks must be safe workplaces for those who keep the nation running.
Every day, bankers work under immense pressure and often risk their safety while serving the nation and keeping the economy moving.
We urge the authorities and the public to stand with bankers and ensure a safe and secure working environment for every banking professional.
.@sp_jalna Kindly intervene 🙏🏻

The banker assaulted at Khamgaon, Buldhana was not making government policy. He was only implementing it. Every farm loan, loan waiver, subsidy, DBT, and welfare scheme announced by the Central and State Governments ultimately reaches the public through a banker.
The policy is announced by @DFS_India@PMOIndia and @CMOMaharashtra. The credit goes to governments. But when anger erupts, the banker becomes the target.
This is not governance. This is shifting the cost of policy failures onto frontline bankers.
We urge @buldhanapolice1 to immediately arrest the culprit and ensure strict legal action. Violence against a public servant performing official duty cannot be tolerated.

• Humans power the system, but policies treat them like servers

• Performance is mandatory, relief is optional
• Agreements are signed with confidence, executed with hesitation
• If delay were productivity, implementation would be complete

Government preaches Digital India, real-time governance, paperless offices.
Bankers deliver 24×7 digital services, zero downtime, rising workloads.
The assurance of 5-Day Banking is still buffering.
Servers are fast. Systems are efficient.
Only approvals remain stuck in “processing…”.
Press ENTER. Implement 5-Day Banking.

RBI says 99.8% banking is digital.
Customers log in, click, pay, exit.
Branches sit empty. ATMs vanish.
UPI works non-stop.
Yet bankers are summoned every Saturday — to supervise Wi-Fi and wait for customers who already went online.
Welcome to Digital India, where technology moved forward but policy forgot its password.
Reset the system.#Implement5DayBanking

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗿, 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲.
A rare banking product: Assurance with unlimited validity, zero execution.
During the BPS Settlement, 5-Day Banking wasn’t demanded—it was assured. Bankers accepted in good faith and delivered in full performance mode.
A year later, systems are digital, productivity is high, weekends are still working days, and the promise is quietly earning dust—not interest.
Official channels spoke. Time moved. Workloads grew. Implementation stayed on leave.
Bankers honoured the settlement in letter, spirit, and extra hours.
This isn’t about comfort—it’s about credibility.
In a 24×7 economy, commitments can’t remain in “pending” status forever.
Waiting for the assurance to mature into action.

🔹 Policy says “Human Resource”; practice treats humans like non-stop infrastructure.
🔹 Bankers manage money, risk, audits, customers — but family time isn’t budgeted.
🔹 Health is advised in circulars, stress is delivered daily.
🔹 Work–life balance exists beautifully… on paper.
🔹 Children grow up on WhatsApp calls, parents age between lunch breaks.
🔹 Mental wellness is a webinar; exhaustion is the policy outcome.
🔹 A fatigued banker is called “committed,” until something goes wrong.
🔹 5-Day Banking isn’t a demand — it’s a system patch long overdue.

The government’s stance on #5DayBanking is like a disappearing act—first, they ‘principally agreed,’ and now, they’ve forgotten! Today’s CLC meeting brought no concrete decision, no positive outcome—so the strike stands firm!
A heartfelt thanks to CPI Kerala MP @Sandosh_CPI Ji for raising this crucial issue in #RajyaSabha. When Policymakers acknowledge our demands, it strengthens our cause. But it’s ironic—those entrusted with leading the #Banking fraternity remain cautious, while a Member of Parliament speaks up for us!
Bankers are the backbone of the economy, yet #5daybanking remains a distant dream. Add to that the unresolved issues of PLI discrimination and unfair recruitment. Words of assurance don’t run a banking system—decisive action does!
The time for ambiguity is over. We demand fairness, dignity, and a long-overdue reform. #BankStrike

Enough of exploitation! Enough of being overworked and underappreciated! The nation’s economy runs on our dedication, yet we are denied basic dignity. #5DaysBanking is a RIGHT, not a luxury!
The streets of #Delhi thunder with our demand—Justice for Bankers! Respect for our labor! This is no mere protest, this is a movement that will shake the system!
#media must witness this storm. The revolution is NOW!
