@commonsenseplay @MartinShkreli Damn wish I maybe still held on to my shorts. Followed into when he initially shorted and was my worst loss I ever had. Quite a big hit but good lesson on shorting. Honestly imo seems shorting isn’t worth it unless it’s only a very small part of your portfolio as a hedge

@genejchan I think there’s a good chance it gets to 20. They have been struggling ever since it ran to 75. Basically just been 40-50 range for a while. If the market has a 10-20 percent correction it’ll easily go to 20

@commonsenseplay If your job is easy, not that stressful and it pays that good I’d probably just do both and keep it to allow you to invest more. Although once your networth is in the millions and paid off house, I think your time becomes more important.

@MartinShkreli Either position very small or perhaps risk to reward isn’t really worth it on binary events. Since maybe you make 50-80 percent which is great but on the flip side can lose a lot more than that

@MartinShkreli Thank you Martin. Sucks cuz I know you try to do your best to help us out. Lost about 20-25 percent of my net worth personally in this. But made great gains on other plays. If anything I’ve learned a good lesson with these biotechs.

@commonsenseplay I feel like Shkreli is a good guy trying to help people, he’s probably upset about it. Hard to get everything right. Only thing I feel like he should address more on some of these plays is the risks knowing people will follow

@commonsenseplay Yeah I’ve had dreams to retire by 35-40 or at least be financially independent/not have to worry as much. But this will probably set me back pretty hard. It’s tough seeing these halts too

@commonsenseplay Very sad day, hope I don’t lose everything. Lost a crazy amount on this. He was right about every other one which I’ve made money on. Seemed convincing esp looking at the research myself. Learned my lesson though even if it did go to $2 you make 50-60 percent but can lose 500+

@genejchan Many quantum researchers and people deep into the space have said there’s no real world application for 15-30 years. Maybe ever. Even if there is some crazy breakthrough and it’s actually useful I’m not sure ionq, rgti or qbts will be the winner. Much more likely ibm or google
