🚨 THE REAL REASON MARIJUANA WAS MADE ILLEGAL HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH DRUGS. IT'S ABOUT PAPER, FUEL, AND PLASTIC.
In 1937, the Marihuana Tax Act criminalized cannabis in the United States. The man behind it: Harry Anslinger — head of the Federal Bureau of Narcotics. His primary funders: Andrew Mellon, the DuPont family, and William Randolph Hearst. Three men with billions invested in industries that hemp would destroy overnight.
DuPont had just patented nylon — a synthetic fiber meant to replace rope and textiles. Hemp produces stronger fiber at a fraction of the cost. Hearst owned millions of acres of timber forests feeding his newspaper empire. Hemp produces four times more paper per acre than trees — and grows in four months instead of twenty years. Mellon — the Treasury Secretary — was DuPont's primary banker. Three men. Three monopolies. One plant that threatened all of them.
They didn't ban a drug. They banned a competitor.

Hemp was legal for 10,000 years. George Washington grew it. Thomas Jefferson grew it. The Declaration of Independence was drafted on hemp paper. The word "canvas" comes from "cannabis." The sails that crossed oceans were hemp. The ropes that rigged every ship were hemp. The first Levi's jeans were hemp. Henry Ford built a car body from hemp plastic in 1941 — stronger than steel, lighter than fiberglass — and designed it to run on hemp fuel.
Popular Mechanics published an article in February 1938 — one month after criminalization — calling hemp "The New Billion Dollar Crop." A decorticator machine had just been invented that made hemp processing economically viable at industrial scale for the first time. The plant was about to replace timber, petroleum-based plastics, cotton, and fossil fuels — simultaneously. In one harvest cycle.
The timing wasn't coincidence. The ban came precisely when technology made hemp commercially viable enough to destroy petroleum, timber, cotton, and synthetic chemical industries in a single generation. They didn't ban it because it was dangerous. They banned it because it was about to make them irrelevant.

Anslinger's campaign was built on racism. He testified to Congress that marijuana "makes darkies think they're as good as white men." He claimed it caused Black men to look at white women. He planted stories in Hearst's newspapers about "reefer madness" — Mexican immigrants and Black jazz musicians driven to violence by the plant. The propaganda wasn't medical. It was racial. Because racial fear was the fastest path to legislation in 1937 America.
The word "marijuana" itself was a strategic choice. The plant was known as cannabis or hemp — familiar, American, useful. Anslinger rebranded it with a Mexican-Spanish name to associate it with immigrant populations. Most congressmen who voted for the ban didn't know they were criminalizing hemp — the plant that built their country. They thought they were banning a foreign drug used by minorities.
Today, the petroleum industry generates $3.3 trillion annually. The pharmaceutical industry: $1.4 trillion. The timber industry: $600 billion. The synthetic textile industry: $800 billion. One plant — growing in any climate, requiring no pesticides, producing fiber, fuel, food, plastic, paper, and medicine — threatens over $6 trillion in annual revenue. The ban was never about your health. It was about their income.

There was a study done that showed results our grandparents wouldn’t have needed a study to prove.

Researchers recruited 467 adults and effectively turned their smartphones into “dumb phones” by using the Freedom app to block all internet access on their phones, including Wi-Fi and mobile data.

Participants could still make phone calls and send texts, and they could still access the internet on computers or other devices.

After two weeks, 70.5% experienced improved mental health, 73.3% improved in subjective well-being, and 58.5% improved their objectively measured sustained attention.

Overall, 90.7% improved on at least one of the three major outcomes.

Dear Texans, the number one job of government is to protect our God-given freedoms and liberties. Unfortunately, the government - at all levels - has become one of the greatest threats to them.

Raising taxes reduces freedom.

Watching elected officials, who are trying to raise property taxes, PLAY THE VICTIM CARD when their constituents object to having their taxes raised… might be the most pathetic thing I’ve ever seen. It is a classic hallmark of leftists and cowards.

Ever since I first ran for office in 2021, I’ve promised voters I would fight for their LIBERTY… and would do everything in my power to stop government from stealing more of their hard-earned money. By exposing tax-and-spend politicians, who are proposing higher property taxes, I am keeping that promise!

Apparently tax-hiking politicians at all levels of government need to be reminded that raising property taxes at every opportunity demonstrates not only a lack of leadership, but worse, it is the exact opposite of “serving the community.”

I will not be intimidated, silenced, or bullied by liberal politicians who seek to harm my constituents by stealing more of the fruits of their labor through higher property taxes.

The last thing Texas needs are more go-along-to-get-along politicians who take the easy path instead of the righteous path… and who choose comfortable timidity instead of courageously standing on principal to boldly represent the THE PEOPLE.

I make no apologies for fighting as hard as possible for LESS GOVERNMENT, MORE FREEDOM... and to ELIMINATE PROPERTY TAXES!!

The Law by Bastiat made simple:

1. Every person has a natural right to defend their life, liberty, and property. Law is simply that individual right organized collectively – nothing more, nothing less.

2. The moment law goes beyond that — taking from some to give to others — it has stopped being law and become legal plunder.

3. Legal plunder isn’t exceptional. It’s the normal operating mode of most governments most of the time: subsidies, redistribution, bailouts – each one a faction using state force to extract what it couldn’t get by voluntary agreement.
It was all already there in 1850.

4. The test is simple: if the same act performed by a private individual would be called theft, it’s theft when the state does it too. The badge doesn’t change the nature of the act.

5. Two wrong responses to legal plunder: give everyone the right to plunder (socialism), or let the current plunderers keep going (cronyism).
The only legitimate answer is to strip law back to its actual function.

6. Once people see law as a machine for taking rather than protecting, everyone floods politics to control it – because whoever runs the machine can point it at their enemies. This is why Bastiat defined the state as “that great fiction by which everyone tries to live at the expense of everyone else.” Lobbying and corruption aren’t aberrations. They’re the logical conclusion of a law that plunders.

7. The title is the whole argument: Bastiat isn’t describing what the law is. He’s describing what it’s supposed to be – and showing, relentlessly, how far the thing calling itself law has drifted from that. Real law protects. Everything else wearing that name is organized force and theft in disguise.

The Dominion ICX machines are able to scan, tabulate, and MARK ballots AFTER the last time a voter handles their ballot. You are even able to program the machine to mimic a "human," not neatly filling in the bubble to hide the fact that a machine filled in the selection.

This combined with the engineered features to purposely cause errors in order to send ballots into adjudication where bulk batches of ballots can be changed and marked at the click of a button with NO oversight, NO transparency, and NO audit trail is the perfect combination to rig and steal an election.

This is just ONE method of FRAUD that was performed in order to steal the 2020 election. With mail-in fraudulent ballots, voters, and remote access on top, you're guaranteed to never lose an election again.

ES&S systems are vulnerable to large-scale UNDETECTABLE fraud and CANNOT be secured.

Texas Election Code §122.001 is not ambiguous:

A voting system "MAY NOT BE USED" unless it meets all 10 mandatory standards.

Electronic voting systems fails every single one. They cant meet the mandatory standards. Inherently insecure, unsafe, and unsuitable

The SOS and Elections Administrators aren't fighting precinct-based and hand-counted elections because they're impractical.

They're fighting them because ES&S and Hart can't profit off the people conducting their own elections and counting their own ballots.

We are Vendor Captured Texans--for example:

October 8, 2024. Dallas County:

Texas SOS inspectors discover ES&S DS200 ballot scanners have abnormally LOW protective counters — the fraud-detection mechanism that Texas law requires to NEVER be reset or rolled back.

EA and ES&S explanation? "Those are new machines. Never been used."

Only after being cornered did ES&S admit the truth — they had programmed the EVS 6300 software upgrade to deliberately reset the protective counters on the DS200s.

The very mechanism designed by law to be permanent and tamper-proof.

They built a fraud capability into the system and didn't tell anyone.

The SOS covered for ES&S.

There is more going on than the news is telling you.

It is not about convenience, it is about fraud dectection. We cant dectect fraud when ES&S and Hart Count the ballots.
