@bhaskarmv @vajravyuha How about the name भुजकोटिकर्णन्यायः since the three sides of a right angled triangle are called भुजः, कोटिः and कर्णः (hypotenuse). With this nomenclature, the theorem becomes just भुजकोट्योर्वर्गयोगपदं कर्णः।
