If you want to understand the callousness of establishment with and the pain of students when exams get cancelled, you must watch this.

The UGC NET exam was held on 18th June 2024 and cancelled next day. About 9.18 lac students took the exam. The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination centre (I4C) disclosed that the exam paper was available on dark web on 27th June, a day before the exam day. The MoE confirmed that exam paper was being sold for Rs.5000 on telegram channels a day before the exam date.

The CBI concluded there was no actual paper leak and filed a closure report. The entire episode was traced back to a school student who doctored a screenshot of the genuine UGC-NET question paper from 18 June 2024, backdating it to 17 June, to give the impression he had obtained it a day before the exam.

The UGC NET 2024 was conducted all over again because I4C and MoE raised a false alarm to cancel an exam. And 9 lac students suffered!!

ग्रेटर नोएडा स्थित गौतम बुद्ध विश्वविद्यालय में आयोजित ‘Weekend With Master’ शिविर का अंतिम सत्र अत्यंत भव्यता और गहनता के साथ संपन्न हुआ। सत्र से पहले देशभर से आए प्रतिभागियों ने सूरजपुर वेटलैंड में प्रकृति के बीच एक शांत और आत्ममंथन से भरी संध्या बिताई। इसके बाद सभी प्रतिभागी गौतम बुद्ध विश्वविद्यालय लौटे, जहाँ सामूहिक रात्रिभोज के उपरांत आचार्य प्रशांत के साथ शिविर का अंतिम सत्र प्रारंभ हुआ। श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता के अगले श्लोकों पर आधारित इस विशेष सत्र में आचार्य प्रशांत ने जीवन, चेतना और वर्तमान वैश्विक संकटों पर गहराई से प्रकाश डाला। देशभर से आए लोगों की उत्साहपूर्ण सहभागिता ने पूरे वातावरण को ऊर्जा और जिज्ञासा से भर दिया। शिविर में प्रत्यक्ष रूप से उपस्थित बड़ी संख्या के अतिरिक्त एक लाख से अधिक लोगों ने इस सत्र को ऑनलाइन भी देखा।

सत्र के प्रश्नोत्तर भाग में आचार्य प्रशांत ने जलवायु परिवर्तन के गंभीर प्रभावों पर प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने बताया कि जलवायु संकट केवल गरीबों या किसी एक वर्ग की समस्या नहीं है, बल्कि यह हर आर्थिक वर्ग को समान रूप से प्रभावित करेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि मध्यमवर्ग अक्सर यह भ्रम पाल लेता है कि वह अपने लिए “निजी क्लाइमेट” बना सकता है, जबकि मनुष्य का शरीर और उसका समस्त जीवन बाहरी प्रकृति से अविभाज्य रूप से जुड़ा हुआ है। आचार्य प्रशांत ने यह भी समझाया कि चिकित्सा उपकरणों से लेकर इलेक्ट्रॉनिक सिस्टम, कारों से लेकर हवाई जहाज़ों तक- सभी पर बदलती जलवायु का व्यापक प्रभाव पड़ेगा, और आने वाले समय में यह संकट बड़े सामाजिक उथल-पुथल का कारण बन सकता है।

He pointed out that while technology improves efficiency, it does not reduce consumption; people simply find ways to consume more.
