Thanks for retweeting this @LBofBromley. Surely the time has come for you to formally declare that there is a climate emergency, and do everything you can to combat it? @FoEBromley @BromleyGreens@BromleyLS@GreenercleanerB all have excellent ideas they would be happy to share!
So, I raised my concern about this tweet yesterday, and how both it, and the link, seemed to be using public resources for political purposes, as well as failing to be even-handed. @LBofBromley is yet to reply 1/n
A proposal to expand inner London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) to London’s greenest borough has been condemned as a cynical tax raid against the borough’s residents https://t.co/r8I9emegju
Given that citizens of all political persuasions agree that there is a real concern with standards in public life, and the importance of ensuring compliance with rules, I would respectfully ask @LBofBromley to consider whether its tweet complies with all relevant rules 6/n
@LBofBromley E.g., para 16 of the Code of Practice states " local authorities should not use public funds to mount publicity campaigns whose primary purpose is to persuade the public to hold a particular view on a question of policy."

@LBofBromley May I gently suggest that this tweet (and the item to which it links) contravenes paragraph 1.7 of the Code of Conduct for Councillors (political purposes) as well as the requirement that LA publicity be objective.
@KimBotting@AlisonStammers The ordinary meaning of "support" is to agree with an idea and want it to succeed. If LBB supports school streets then it will presumably encourage their roll out and do everything to enable them to suceed? If not, please do not say that LBB "supports" them. @BromleyLS
Governments may be telling local authorities to change the default speed limit to 20mph on most urban roads, but in LB #Bromley our Conservative-run Council is simply not listening. #SlowDown#20sPlenty
No diversion sign at Lower Sydenham end either. Irony is that a) if a road was closed then @LBofBromley would put in a diversion sign and b) said sign would probably obstruct a pavement! @BromleyLS@GreenercleanerB
@LBofBromley@SustransLondon No diversion here for the Pool River Path between Lennard Rd/Kingsley Bridge Rd? This is not just a local path as it's part of LCN21 and Waterlink Way, so can't expect everyone to know local area or have a charged smartphone!!
This should be all over the front pages. The government's terminating our right to protest, through amendments sneaked into the Police Bill at the last minute.
It's the biggest assault on democracy in 70+ years, and hardly anyone seems to know.

LB #Bromley has 520 miles of roads. What will it take for @LBofBromley to create safer streets for everyday #activetravel?
Surely #20sPlenty in residential neighbourhoods?
