India's logistics cost has fallen from 14% of GDP a decade ago to around 8-10% today. The savings are real. However, with trucks still carrying over 60% of India's freight and rail under 30%, the structural challenge of building a truly multimodal network remains unfinished business.

India secured a silver medal in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event at the ISSF World Cup Munich 2026, with Manu Bhaker and Samrat Rana finishing on 483.6 points.

The Indian pair missed gold by a razor-thin margin of just 0.3 points against reigning world champions Yao Qianxun and Hu Kai of China. Manu Bhaker delivered the standout performance of the final, registering the highest individual score of 242.1.

On 29th May 2026, the highest-ever single-day record of 15,000 rooftop solar installations across the country was achieved under the @PMSuryaGhar: Muft Bijli Yojana.

Maharashtra set a new record with 4700 installations in a single day and became the second state after Gujarat to cross the landmark of 6 lakh installations.
