New story:
An Indian billionaire was targeted by the Trump administration.
Then he poured millions of dollars into an obscure startup secretly backed by Donald Trump Jr.
@Megtweets31 Actually they can, and unfortunately it is legal. The price your are paying is not only for the bottle, but also for the atmosphere(you are dining there) and the service. So restaurants can legally charge more. However, if you are buying from a vendor, charging more is illegal.
There are roughly 100 influential automotive journalists in India who help shape public opinion and the direction of the auto industry. Yet not one of them is seriously questioning ethanol blending, E85, isobutanol in diesel, or the long-term impact these policies may have on consumers. The silence is deafening.
Why? Because speaking against powerful interests comes at a cost.
I have experienced it myself. When I criticized Mahindra, people connected to the company started making inquiries about me, my earnings, and even attempted to influence me.
Now there are efforts to pursue defamation claims. When I spoke about Tata’s vehicles, I was subjected to personal attacks, and event invitations for my team were affected. Recently, after posting a video about ethanol, I received pressure and threats that ultimately led to the video being taken down.
This is why I openly say that much of the automotive media ecosystem is compromised. Paid promotions, paid tweets, and sponsored narratives are far more common than people realize. I know how these systems work, and I believe that is one of the reasons why very few are willing to speak critically about ethanol-related policies.
The reality is that millions of consumers will be affected by these decisions. Don’t wait for journalists to be your voice people must speak for themselves.
As for me, I will continue to ask questions and share my views. I have never done paid posts, and I never will. No amount of pressure, influence, or money will change that! 🙏🏻
A pregnant woman in Madhya Pradesh opened a government nutrition packet meant for her health and her unborn child.
Inside was a dead snake.
This wasn’t some random food packet bought from a roadside shop. This was part of a taxpayer-funded welfare scheme, distributed through the Anganwadi system, after passing through suppliers, contractors, packaging units, warehouses, transporters and government officials.
And yet, a dead snake made it all the way to the beneficiary.
The real question isn’t how the snake got in.
The real question is how many layers of “quality control” failed to notice it.
Every election season we hear speeches about welfare, nutrition, women empowerment and public service. Crores are spent on advertisements celebrating government schemes. Ministers pose for cameras while distributing benefits.
But when it comes to basic quality checks, the system collapses.
If a dead snake can reach a pregnant woman, what exactly are officials inspecting? What are suppliers being paid for? What are monitoring committees doing?
The CM’s government loves distributing freebies.
Maybe it should first ensure beneficiaries aren’t receiving reptiles along with them.
A 5-member inquiry panel has now been formed.
Because in India, accountability usually begins only after the scandal is exposed. Not before it happens.
> Congress : BJP backed Rajya Sabha candidate Parimal Nathwani has discrepancies in his nomination form
> ECI : Okay, we will give him 24 hours time to correct
> BJP : Congress candidate Meenakshi Natarajan has discrepancies in her nomination form
> ECI : Nomination rejected

Bhakt: We support this Govt coz it works in the national interest
Reporter: Students are committing suicide after the paper leak issue
Bhakt: Who told them to commit suicide? If the paper gets leaked, they should sit for the exam again as simple as that
This is Slave Mindset.
BJP is desperately trying to make India into a one party dictatorship.
Shiv Sena, NCP, AAP, BJD, TMC..
They are breaking up one political party after another using money power, bribery, threats of arrest, extortion. This is not just highly undemocratic but it is setting a new precedent for the future.
It is pretty much a guarantee now that the day BJP goes out of power in centre, they will also be broken up into multiple pieces.
How appalling that a senior MP like @Jairam_Ramesh ji was reportedly not even allowed to sit in the Election Commission’s waiting room.
Has the EC been reduced to functioning like a BJP office? Has even the semblance of institutional impartiality now disappeared?
