This chart shows the AVERAGE range of healing times for various tissues in the body, including different grades of tissue injury for muscles, tendons, and ligaments. It can serve not only as a guide but a reminder that we can't force our bodies to heal faster than possible.

Athletic Trainers at the secondary school level play a vital role in injury prevention, evaluation, and treatment. If your school/district is serious about the health and safety of athletes, ensure that ATs are present on the sidelines.

“I’m on to the future now. I don’t even want to think about the past anymore. I’m healthy, and that’s all that matters. I went through a lot of adversity. I think that’s made me stronger. I feel like I’m able to weather storms now.” https://t.co/LjVcYlqQzC

Every 24 hours we need to re-up:
1. Sleep
2. Morning Sunlight
3. Exercise
4. Nutrients (even if from body stores)
5. Water
The fact that we can survive >24hrs without one or several of these, is irrelevant. Health flourishes when we make getting all 5 of these a daily priority.
