what the heck

[emi @rameneDoodles]

@DiscussKing no

[emi @rameneDoodles]

sonic adventure dx singlehandedly ruined the public perception of sonic adventure forever

[Sonic The Wereblog @Sonic_Hedgeblog]

A comparison of Tails' model in 'Sonic Adventure' and the DX re-release.

[emi @rameneDoodles]

@DiscussKing i grew up with the dx version i'm anti-nostalgia maxxing

[emi @rameneDoodles]

@gmerc you're right, sadx does look q lot better on the gamecube. its the more widely available ports of it that are truly broken.

personal opinion but i still don't like how the gamecube port looks

[emi @rameneDoodles]

i will never forgive what they did to my girl

[emi @rameneDoodles]

this got a handful of likes in just a few seconds so i'll leave this video here if anyone's curious about *why* sadx is terrible. ~36 min watch but it's interesting!

[emi @rameneDoodles]

@motel_suave no it really isnt. he gives his thoughts and maybe that's nitpicking, but the video is entirely factual and sadx objectively (for the most part) is a visual downgrade due to the graphical bugs

@REBHPortal #TyrantSurvival

[emi @rameneDoodles]

@Dastanovich_ cant find it now but i swear boundary break did an episode on sonic 06 and he showed what happened here, knuckles didn't ragdoll but his mocap actor just did something like a stretch or a squat iirc. the camera placement definitely makes it look like he ragdolls though

[emi @rameneDoodles]

@keff0m puzzle tips should definitely be a toggle or add-on mod. would love to hear the cut dialogue in-game but not if the characters are gonna be overbearing with the puzzle hints lol

[emi @rameneDoodles]

@Lilith_700 thank you for speaking the truth, tried playing this game a few years back and it took me getting like 70% of the way through the game to realize i was just not having a great time lol

[emi @rameneDoodles]

@ih8kbomb honestly never played 9 in first person for a second. third person in re games feels so much for natural to me

[emi @rameneDoodles]

@hokohokoda do the japanese resident evil dubs usually remove jokes like that? part of the reason why leon kennedy is so loved here in the united states is because of his one-liners

[emi @rameneDoodles]

@Umbracoatl @EpicGames oh i've run into this issue quite a few times when using windows 11. i've found that my pc randomly decides to stop detecting my ssd that has windows 11 installed on it and causes this blue screen until i hard reset. dont we love vibecoded operating systems?

[emi @rameneDoodles]

@WolfcatRisi maybe their account got hacked and started sending out random friend requests to people? and they just happened to see your message after they got their account back lol

[emi @rameneDoodles]

@nknico1 @danivempire666 the game files from a legitimate copy of the game needs to be provided by the user. whether the user pirates the game or provides their own copy is on them, not the people who made this recompilation project

[emi @rameneDoodles]

@3kliksphilip i wonder if they think that because they'll be playing online and see police cars in the area because some other player comitted a crime

[emi @rameneDoodles]

@jsteoff that part and the part where you gotta keep backtracking to shape the keys was really annoying. i get it was to give time for the story dump codec calls but still. yeesh

[emi @rameneDoodles]

@lioninjawarloc @Stickguy101 @summergusting also had cheating and botting problems. at least cs did, but it wasn't nearly as bad as tf2's problems

[emi @rameneDoodles]

@gamingguru456 not sure why the persona building subsection of the community is incredibly rude. every time i've shared a build some guy would just tear it apart???
